A escala PPS[1]

Esta escala foi elaborada pela Victoria Hospice Society no Canada para avaliação de pacientes com curto prognóstico de vida, internados ou em regime de hospice.

Indicativos do processo ativo de morte

O seguintes indicativos devem ser reportados em prontuário do doente em cuidados paliativos e para familiares sempre que surgirem ou acontecerem mudanças:


Notas

  1. Roncos de transmissão bulhares, grossos e geralmente inspiratórios.
  2. Úlcera de pressão com desenvolvimento rápido. Diz-se, normalmente, da úlcera nova, de surgimento facilitado pelo débil enchimento capilar do paciente em processo ativo de morte.
